How to become a user of NML?
Pre-registration online
1. For using the electronic resources only – online registration is completed after bank transfer
2. For lending books/journals – registration in person at Sokolská 54, you get the USER’s Card valid for 1 year
Conditions for issuing User’s Card:
– Completed Registration Form
– Payment of fee
– A valid personal ID (ISIC card, passport, confirmation of permanent or temporary residence in the Czech Republic, confirmation from the Czech Police, or a rental agreement / dormitory accommodation contract / employment contract in the Czech Republic).
– Passport photo
Types of User’s Card:
Standard – 150 CZK
Borrowing books for home use, using NML Reading Rooms, access to all databases on-site and off-site (via Remote Access)
Discounted – 100 CZK – students up to 26 / retired
In-house only – 100 CZK
Using NML Reading Rooms with computers, ordering books/journals for on-site studying only, databases only in NML, no Remote Access
Legal entity – 500 CZK – Only for institutions borrowing books, using Reading Rooms, no Remote Access
Payments in person are accepted in cash only (CZK).
